Pet Parents

Isn't it funny how you notice things more AFTER you become involved with them? Like - when you buy a new red convertible. Before you had one of your own, you hardly ever noticed red convertibles on the road. But, as soon as you drive off the dealership lot with yours - you notice half a dozen spinning by you on the expressway.

Before starting this blog - though I was a pet lover and a pet enthusiast, and pets were (always have been) a big part of my life ... I wasn't aware of them as a burgeoning marketing focus. Today, as I was doing a bit of overdue blog reading, I ended up on Church of the Customer and found Jackie's post on Pets and Marketing. Which led me to this article at MSNBC, "New products pamper pets from head to tail." Check out the PawFume!

I thought I'd do a bit more research and I uncovered these great places for pets - a pet parents' delight, I think! (wonder what the pets would think?)

Best in Show. A cool pet cartoon site.Be sure to go back to the original cartoon - reminds me of Carmel to the hilt!

My Dog Bliss - A Typepad blog of the day, from last week. I LOVE this Happy Birthday gift.

How about this one, Kat's Cat of the Day, for cats? (thank you, Kat, for posting this poem)Pretty_up_close

Nine lives
each cat may
surely measure;
May yours be
nine times filled
with pleasure.

Very kewl, Jane. I LOVE the pic of the guy reading out loud to the pets! I never tried it but, I have to wonder...

Not every photo is of a pet, but I'm in love with CuteOverload - http://cuteoverload.com/ - it's my daily stress break.
