A discussion on breeds and breeding

Dr_larry Today Dr. Larry and I take up our conversation where we left off last time - with an open discussion of breeding dogs. The reality that dogs are a part of the wolf family and that domestication of the dog was not by happenstance, made me wonder about current breeding practices. While neither Dr. Larry nor I are breeders, we both have thoughts on this subject.

Dr. Larry's thoughts are based on his background and experience as a vet. Mine are based on what I've seen and read, in the news, about this subject. We're open to hearing your thoughts. Leave us a note...
