This post from Mandy talks about something I bet none of us ever really think about: what would happen to our pets in case of our demise? Think about it - if something happens to you, who do you have set up to care for Fido or Fifi?
I know I would take in my daughter's cats, in a heartbeat, but I don't know that she could take in Carmel and Wabby Wibby. She lives in an apartment and, with her current three cats, I think she is overloaded with pets. If you don't have a caretaker assigned, guess what happens...your pet ends up at a shelter. This has me thinking, hard, about what to do - and who to call.
Beyond this, I discovered a good blog called Read Larry Powell: A Pet Place for People. There's a link to a "radio show" but it's just a commercial for the site. Anyway, this post I've linked to has a lot of really good content, including a number of neat pics of pets. Check it out.
Now, I have a video to share...from Metcalf, a new video site I just discovered. Now, where was this video when we were trying to have a cute cat contest???
