Got a neat note recently about "Lulu and Lolly" and thought their video was a great follow-up to the sadness of the last week. Note that Carmie was a shelter puppy, when we first got her. When we're ready for our next four-legged love, it will be from our local shelter, as well.
Enjoy this little ditty and visit the Lulu and Lolly blog, too. [background info: Cynthia Miller is an advertising/marketing expert in Austin, TX and a devout animal lover. She wishes people would give more attention to pet rescue issues - which I write about on this blog a lot, because I think we need to pay more attention to them, too! A portion of sales from the 2009 online calendar are donated to the rescue group, as noted in this article online. ]

Thanks Yvonne for sharing this video. It is adorable and made me smile tonight. I currently have two cats from our local shelter, Rose and Jack who are sister and brother, named after the Titanic Movie. We just celebrated their 8th year anniversary with us. We also have Shadow who we got over two years ago through the Golden Retriever Rescue Society. We love them all!
