So, what else is there to do on a lazy, dazy, chilly Sunday afternoon - with your pets? Make e-post cards that put them right into the Obama family portrait. That's what!
My BBFF (best blogging friend forever), BL Ochman - whom I once compared to Diane Sawyer (yes, she's just as smart and just as talented and just as gorgeous!), has a fabulous new website called Pawfun that allows folks to add their pet's pic to T-shirts (can't wait to get one with my Carmie on it), and...as a launch promotion, she's got a delightful post card image of our new first family...to which we pet lovers can add a picture of our pet! Your own e-post card! You gotta try it... I did, look here...
All I did was log in to the blog and follow the instructions. I did have to use a photoshop tool to make the kitty's pic smaller, to fit...but when I was done, it was so adorable, I sent a note to everyone I know! Note that the kitty in this pic is not Wabby Wibby. Wabby Wibby has never allowed us to take a really good picture of her.
The kitty in the picture is Bella, Maggie's sweet little cat. (Maggie is my baby girl who lives in Buff, NY - to those who are not in the know. Bella is just one of her 3 cats!)
As I was positioning the pic, I could hear Bella saying, "No, a little to the left. Make sure you get my good side. And tell the new president, Obama, he would be lucky to have me in the White House." As if! LOL
Hop over and have some fun at BL's new site. Order your T-shirt...or, if you live in the NorthEast, like I do, order a sweatshirt! (Acknowledgment: BL did not do this by herself - she is quick to note that her partner and Wizard-in-the-know, Caimin Jones, is as deep into this as she is! Like my Tom, BL has an expert at hand who is definitely Wizard material! Watch out, Harry Potter!)

what a great post.. Pawfun is fabulous.. As a matter of fact my beautiful cat Allie is the covergirl on the Obama family picture on Pawfun's homepage. It makes a Mama proud :)

My BBFF - Thank you for this fantastic post! I had forgotten about you comparing me to Diane Sawyer - which had me ROFL! I wish I was like her! But who doesn't.
Glad you had fun at Pawfun. We just launched and we will be adding new stuff constantly. So please do come back. We'll soon have a kid's page, and games, and lots of other fun stuff.
You're def right about needing a sweatshirt in the Northeast - it's 9 degrees in New York City! Benny Bix Ochman Labradoodle Puppy thinks that's just right. sigh
