Yvonne & Dr. Larry Talk Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, Part 1

It's almost time...the Westminster Dog Show is being held on the 9th and 10th...which is Monday and Tuesday. I was lucky enough, via the good Dr. Larry, to score an interview with someone who knows the true ins and outs of Westminster, Ernie Planck - a former Purina pet person (Emeritus!).

In this podcast, Ernie tells us about standards - there are 170 breeds and varieties - and each one has its own special requirements for inclusion in Westminster. Ernie shares how are they chosen or decided and what do might you have to do to get your pet included. With his many years of attending Westminster Kennel Club Dog Shows in the every popular Madison Square Garden, NY, NY...he's full of great stories that help bring this event home to those of us who only get to watch it on TV.
