Up until last week you did not have the option to be protected against this relatively new disease. The FDA gave conditional approval to Intervet-Shering Plough for a Canine Influenza vaccine on June 24Th.

Maybe it is best to vaccinate your dog to avoid sicknesses like Canine influenza.
