Tucson Truck Accident

I guess it really is best for Ella to be with the one who found her if the family can't really afford to keep her. But still so sad after reading this story. The dog is so attached to the family that she even kept the family's things close to her.

Dog is man's best friend! Because it is no longer afraid of loneliness! Because people's lives more secure! I love dogs! You?

@nz - on the evening news, they did a follow-up on this story and the dog was not put up for adoption. The woman who rescued Ella is taking care of her for now. The family did not want to do that - they could not afford to keep Ella. I think Ella is an exceptional dog and maybe allowing her to be adopted, is best.

But, I do not fault the family. They clearly wanted her back. The economy and the crash worked against them.

The worst part is after they reported this story on CBS morning news they said the family put the dog up for adoption, because they had too many expenses related to the crash...completely blew my mind...NO RESPECT, the dog deserves a better family anyway I hope she gets one!
