We have an exciting podcast for today's Scratchings & Sniffings Out Loud.
Have you ever wished there were more options for taking care of your pet when you're away? How about...having someone check on a sick pet that's at home, but you have to be at work? How about taking your pet with you on vacation, but not wanting to leave him or her alone while you go off playing at the amusement park all day?
There is an answer to those questions and more. This is Part One of a two-part series with Paul Mann of Fetch!™ Pet Care. I'm excited about his franchise opportunities, and about the seriousness of his approach. He isn't in this for the money...he's in it because he knows we want the best care for our pets, when we're not around. I am very impressed by his franchise opportunities, and his approach to pet care - AND his guarantee. Listen up to this first half of my talk with Paul...and stay tuned for Part Two next week.

Susan, perhaps you can share the ruling that says boarding pets in someone's home is illegal? I know many pet sitters who watch pets in their home, and I do not believe they are breaking the law.
I do want to understand what you mean so I can make sure S&S readers have accurate information. Please let us know how you know this is illegal.
Thank you.

Did you know that boarding of pets in someone's home is illegal when you interviewed this company? When they say that they board privately..that is illegal.

Hawkeye, thanks for stopping by and I appreciate your comment. Perhaps you can elaborate on how Mann has "alientated the entire rest of his industry"... I am unaware of the issue, but am willing to hear your side. I hope you will email me or share here, in another comment.

One has to wonder if Ms. DiVita is thinking of buying one of Mann's franchises with her adoration of someone who has alienated the entire rest of his industry with his patronizing insults about boarding kennels and independent pet sitting companies.
