It's 2013, folks. Ya know what I mean? It's not 1903 or something. It's a new millennium and in this new time pets should not be discriminated against. Nor should people who live in condominiums. They should be allowed to have pets. Who's with me on this?
Maida Genser, Founder and President of Citizens FOR Pets in Condos, writes to me occasionaly and I share her thoughts on this blog, when she does.
A week ago, well on the 19th of this month, the Tamarac Community Center in Tamarac, Florida buried a time capsule as part of their 50th year celebration. Maida shared with me that this would be included:
"Citizens FOR Pets in Condos hopes that when the time capsule is dug up in 2063 that south Florida will be in sync with the rest of the pet-loving United States."
All I can say is... I hope so, too. But, even more so, I wish they would allow Maida and other folks who love pets, as you and I do, to have them in condos. What's the harm? I am certain that the majority of people would still take good care of their condos and they would pick up after their pets and the world would be a better place.
Just saying. Why is Tamarac, Florida so behind the times? I just don't get it.
