When I say pests I mean... ticks, fleas, mosquitoes. Ewwwwww! The kinds of pests that are emerging from their winter sleep and gathering around our favorite outdoor places.
Here's the scoop, folks... you know I'm all about the human animal bond. Well, that means sharing information relevant to the good health of our pets, as well as sharing information about how much pets mean to us. Truly, if pets mean so much to us, isn't it our job to make sure they are healthy all year long?
I attended a session at the 2014 BlogPaws, given by Steve Dale, sponsored by Vectra 3D, that opened my eyes to the seriousness of flea and tick infestations. It's hard to admit but in the past I've been rather lackadaisical about this whole issue. I mean, really... fleas? Ticks? Mosquitoes? The first parasite (fleas) invaded my life when my kids were little, so you'd think I'd be more cautious about them... but, honestly, I just thought I could keep a clean house and be okay.
